    Talking for Therapy offers non-judgemental, compassionate emotional support through confidential listening phone services. Our vision is to make a difference among countless people struggling with their mental health throughout the world. That’s why our helpline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

     

    A Team of Empathetic, Trained Advisors

    The Talking for Therapy team is composed of individuals with diverse backgrounds in social care, birthing partners, mental health matters, housing, vulnerable people, doula services, and more.

    While our advisors are not professional counsellors, they do have various levels of professional training in active listening and support. In short, they specialize in creating a safe, non-judgemental, and private space for every caller.

    You’ll find an equal number of male and female advisors here at Talking for Therapy. Some are with us part-time, some full-time, but they all have one thing in common— they care about you and what you have to share.

     

    Talking for Therapy: More Than Just a Crisis Hotline

    At Talking for Therapy, we’re committed to helping people get through some of the most difficult times in their lives. However, we offer more than just emergency mental health intervention:

    • Our new parent support group and doula are a wonderful resource for people who are entering this fresh chapter in their lives. On the other hand, we can also help you identify and address postpartum and postnatal depression.

    • We can help couples and individuals dealing with adultery. In addition, you can also learn more ways on how to emotionally support your spouse and loved ones.
    • Our advisors can guide you towards greater mental health awareness. We can also help you learn more about emotional support plus health and social care.
